Ontario Early Years Centres
At an Ontario Early Years Centre (OEYC), literacy based programming allows parents and caregivers to attend with their children; learn about child development; connect with community professionals; enhance parenting skills; attend workshops; learn alongside and have fun with their children. The programs are free and are available to everyone in the community with young children, with a focus of 0-6 years of age.
Early Learning Professionals along with community partners offer:
Expert advice on parenting
Information on developmental milestones
Organized programs and activities for parents and children that focus on literacy and development
