Paddling a Dragon Boat
The boat is sleek and narrow, with 20 paddlers, moving in unison to the call of the drummer. With every stroke each individual becomes part of the team!
One team, one goal!
Don’t you want to be part of that team?
Join the Parks and Rec Team for our new Learn to Paddle Program. The program is designed for
• Anyone new to paddling
• The less serious paddler
• Anyone who wants to exercise
Program focus is on technique, team building and fun.
The Dragon Boat is also available for rent. It can be used by existing teams that want more practice or new teams needing to learn to paddle or for Corporate Team Building. Rentals can be with or without a steersperson.
Don't Forget: All Canadian boat operators need the Pleasure Craft Boat Operators Card ... it's the law!!
