Interim Control By-law for Off-Street Parking in Traditional Commercial Streets
Since Council passed the Interim Control By-law prohibiting new and expanded parking areas within BIAs, Administration has been undertaking a land use study on policies and regulations related to off-street parking areas within BIAs and other traditional commercial streets. We invite you to participate in the study to help shape the future look and feel of these areas. Refer to the Off-Street Parking in Traditional Commercial Streets web page for further details.
Open Streets Windsor
Open Streets Windsor Spring 2016 will be the city’s largest free recreation program. We are creating a world-class program that connects our diverse neighbourhoods and people across the city.
Open Streets are programs where the streets are opened to people and closed to cars. People traffic replaces car traffic, and the streets become “paved parks” where people of all ages, abilities, and social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds can come out and improve their health.
