Black Moss Press Book Launch
Tuesday, April 2, 2024
7:00 p.m.
Black Moss Press is proud to present two new poetry collections. Join us for a celebration of literature and community. "Where The Map Begins" is a poetry anthology featuring fourteen poets, each hailing from one of Windsor's ten wards, with poems reflecting on the stories, people, places and more in the city of Windsor. "What Time Can't Touch" is a collection of poems that travel back in time: into the hearts, homes, graveyards, and historic buildings of Amhertburg. These books were published with the assistance of University of Windsor students in the Editing and Publishing Practicum courses, under the guidance of Windsor's Poet Laureate Emeritus Marty Gervais. This course gives students a hands-on opportunity to experience the world of publishing and work with many talented authors. To reserve your spot, visit the eventbrite for the Black Moss Press book launch.
