Enhanced Language Training (ELT) for Entrepreneurs

Nov  23, 2009 to Jan  1, 2010 - The Enhanced Language Training (ELT) Program for Entrepreneurs provides training and support for FREE to permanent residents and convention refugees looking to establish their own business in the Windsor-Essex County. Eligibility requirement: English proficiency assessed at LINC Level 5 and above. The new session begins on November 23, 2009 and includes 8 weeks of in-class training followed by 4-weeks of voluntary work placement in a local business or community agency - a work setting matched to client's interest and goals.

Childcare for children 18 months to 6 years of age is provided at no cost. Transportation assistance is available to clients who qualify. We gratefully acknowledge funding by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
