Volunteer/Job Search With Confidence

Jan  16, 2010 to Jan  23, 2010 - Two-day workshop (January 16 and 23). Volunteering is an art and a skill. Everyone benefits if it is done in a professional manner. What skills do you need when volunteering, searching for a job or heading into a new job or placement position; what skills and attitudes are organizations and businesses looking for when they accept you as a volunteer or employee; what are your expectations about the commitment; do employers have expectations about you and your abilities? There are many questions and concerns when we make a commitment to volunteer or work. This workshop is intended to provide tools and resources to ensure that your placement, employed position or volunteer commitment will be a positive experience.
