Business Licensing By-law 395-2004, Schedule C1 (see By-laws Online)

Applicant Requirements:

Privately Owned Land

Application - Carnival/Circus (*Please apply at least 60 days prior to event date*)
Appendix Form for Carnival/Circus
Business Ownership Declaration for Carnival/Circus
Property Use Permission Letter (Approval from the land owner)
Map detailing the location of the Carnival or Circus on the property
Certificate of approval for the sanitary facilities by the Health Unit - Visit www.wechealthunit.org
Proof of General Liability Insurance (Minimum $2,000,000)
Where rides are provided, a copy of the licence issued by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (T.S.S.A.) to carry on business and a valid and current Ontario Amusement Device Permit for each ride also issued by the T.S.S.A.

City Owned Land

Application - Carnival/Circus (*Please apply at least 60 days prior to event date*)

Copy of the signed agreement with the Recreation Department
Where rides are provided, a copy of the licence provided by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (T.S.S.A.) to carry on business and a valid and current Ontario Amusement Device Permit for each ride also issued by the T.S.S.A.

The Carnival/Circus licence does not renew.
