Economic Development Standing Committee 

Who We Are

The Economic Development Standing Committee is comprised of the following 5 members of City Council:

• Councillor Dilkens
• Councillor Marra
• Councillor Payne
• Councillor Sleiman
• Councillor Valentinis

What We Do

The Economic Development Standing Committee typically meets on the first Wednesday of each month.  The Administrative Advisors are the City Solicitor and City Planner.  The mandate of this Standing Committee shall be to study and report to Council on all matters relating to the following:

• Community development initiatives (downtown, neighbourhoods)
• International exchanges with Sister Cities
• Small business support and development
• Policy matters relating to economic development
• Business Improvement Areas (BIA)

• Small Business Advisory Panel
• Windsor BIA Advisory Committee
• Windsor Heritage Committee
