  • December 8, 2008: Report to Council giving direction to City Clerk.

  • February 2, 2009: Consultant Communication with Council.

  • February 17 and 18, 2009: Conduct interviews with all stakeholders.

  • March 11 and 12, 2009: Continue interviews with stakeholders and view physical layout of the city.
     
  • April 6, 2009 (Note: rescheduled from March 30): Consultant's "Options Paper" to Council for information.

  • April 15 and 16, 2009: Conduct public meetings.

  • April 16, 2009:  Conduct interviews on "Options Paper".
     
  • June 15, 2009: The consultant's final report will be considered by City Council.
    This item has been deferred by council until the July 13, 2009 Council meeting.

  • July 13, 2009: Final Report considered by Council.  Council Decision.

  • July 27, 2009: Council Reconsideration of July 13, 2009 Council Decision.

  • August 4, 2009:  Consultant to conduct interviews to review alterations to the 10-ward option.

  • August 10, 2009: Consultant's Updated Report for the 10-ward Option.
    Council approved a new 10-Ward Boundary configuration with one-member ward representation for the 2010 municipal election.
  • August 24, 2009: Passage of By-law 133-2009 to establish ward boundaries in the City of Windsor.  See the Council Decision.

  • October 8, 2009: Last day to file Notice of Appeal with City Clerk.

  • October 23, 2009: Last day for City Clerk to forward Notices of Appeal to Ontario Municipal Board.
