Provincial Offences Service Unit

The Provincial Offences Service Unit provides prosecutorial and Court administrative functions for Provincial Offences matters on behalf of Windsor/Essex County Court Service Area, including collection and distribution of fine revenues.

Payments:

  • POA payments accepted in person by Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard or Personal Cheque or at www.paytickets.ca (Offence Notices or "tickets" only can be paid on-line, as distinct from summonses).  You may also pay over the telephone using Visa or MasterCard.  Payment can additionally be made in person, or mailed or couried to us, via personal cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to "City of Windsor", but note that personal cheques must be certified in the following situations:
    • if your driver's licence has been suspended due to non-payment of any fine, or
    • if replacement payment is being made for any previously dishonoured or NSF personal cheque.

Parking:

  • Free one-hour parking available in the Chatham Street parking garage located at the corner of Goyeau St. and Chatham St. E (entrance off of Chatham Street East)
