 Mackenzie Hall offers an innovative series of classes and workshops that focus on personal skills and cultural development. We offer a wide range of programs, from Yoga and Creative Writing to Fine Arts instruction and even Chocolate Making - and there's always something new each session!

Dance Classes
Get ready to have fun with your feet! Beginner dance classes will have you moving to the rhythm! Taught by award-winning instructor Elena Semenov.
International Ballroom Dancing Modern Waltz, Tango, Blues, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz and more! The program begins with basic partnering and single steps, and advances to more difficult steps and variations. Great fun and great exercise! A partner is helpful but not mandatory. Simple Black Dress - The Workshop (81288) Make that dark dress with us and our experienced instructor, Patricia Fell. Bring your own sewing machine, a good pair of scissors and your material. Digital Photography 101 A class for the absolute beginner in digital photography. Local photographer Reg Tucker shows you the fundamentals: composition, lighting, landscape and portraiture. March Break Youth Camp Join Purple Theatre for this very special youth program!
Knight School for Girls & Boys (81273) This creative play program recreates page-squire-knight style training with experiences and discussions on modern chivalry, basic self-defence, basic first aid, shield making, heraldry, medieval manners, questing and more. There will also be a mock feast and performance at 4pm on Friday. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring a lunch. Recommended for ages 7 - 16. Breathe Art Theatre Project is located in Detroit, MI and Windsor, ON, making it one of the few professional cross-border arts companies in North America. They produce contemporary works based on the principles of ensemble collaboration that showcases the works of some of the finest theatre artists from Detroit and Windsor.
Formed in 2004 by a collective of actors, directors and designers, Breathe Art Theatre Project is cultivating a history of producing challenging and socially related theatre with an intimate relationship between the audience and the actors. Mr. Marmalade is a savage black comedy about what it takes to grow up in a society rampant with excess information.
Love Bombing After The Earthquake Written and Directed by Demetri Vacratsis Friday & Saturday May 6 & 7 at 8:00pm
A high-ranking official orchestrates the interrogation of an associate professor a year after a massive earthquake has given way to a new form of government. As the play shifts between the interrogation room and events leading up to the present, the questions slowly probe the role of a mysterious woman.
