Post-Secondary students now pay "STUDENT" fares.

Transit Windsor Board of Directors approved changing the definition of "student", for the purpose of fare media products to include elementary, secondary and post-secondary, effective September 1, 2009, on a permanent basis.  Furthermore, the Post-Secondary Semester (4-month) bus pass category is eliminated.  See the news release for details.

Students:

  • When paying the student fare by cash or ticket, a valid student card must be presented to the driver.  Failure to do so will result in the passenger paying the full adult fare.

  • All students are required to update their photo ID with a sticker on an annual basis while attending school on a full-time basis.  There is no fee for the sticker, and a valid student card is required.  Stickers are available at the Windsor International Transit Terminal.
