 Who We Are
The Windsor Bicycling Committee (WBC) is comprised of 10 members, including one City Councillor, who strive to enhance the safety and viability of bicycling in the City of Windsor.
What We Do
The WBC acts as an advocate for the growth of bicycling as a form of recreation and transportation and also advises Council and City departments on matters relating to bicycling in Windsor. Some goals of the WBC include:
- Increasing public awareness of cycling
- Promoting internal/external cycling facilities and programs
- Developing cycling education courses
- Recruiting skilled volunteers
- Developing fundraising strategies
- Promoting events utilizing the local media
- Maintaining liaison with related groups/organizations
- Gathering feedback from citizens
