Who We Are

The Central Riverfront Technical Advisory Committee (CRTAC) is established to provide expert review and advice for the on-going development of the Central Riverfront Park Lands.

What We Do

  • The primary role of CRTAC will be to:
Review the technical merit of proposed municipal and private undertakings within the Central Riverfront Park Lands
  • Provide recommendations to Administration and City Council which identify how the undertakings conform to the principles, objectives, and design standards cited in the Central Riverfront Implementation Plan (CRIP).

CRTAC committee members continue to provide Council with their expert advice in landscape architecture, urban design, planning, visual arts, and civil and environmental engineering.  CRTAC members have reviewed several projects, which affect the Riverfront Park Lands including the Peace Beacon, Boundless Playground, Windsor-Detroit Firefighters Memorial and Airforce Memorial in Dieppe Gardens.
