  • Winter Hours*: 
    • January 1, 2010 thru to April 3, 2010 -
    • Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
    • Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. 
  • Spring Hours*:  
    • Extended Hours at the Public Drop Off Depot
    • Monday April 5 thru to Saturday May 29th, 2010 -
    • Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. 
    • Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. 
  • Summer Hours*:  
    • Monday May 31 thru to Saturday Nov. 27, 2010 -
    • Monday-Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
  • Winter Hours*:

Chemical Waste Depot:

Hours:  Same as listed above 

Garbage Collection:

  • Day Shift: Monday-Thursday.  Collection is normally delayed one day after a Statutory Holiday.
  • Night Shift: Sunday night thru to Friday Morning.  Collections occur between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am in many commercial areas. Night collection is delayed one day after a Satutory Holiday.     

Recycling (Red & Blue Box) Collection:

  • Recycling collection is bi-weekly, the day after your scheduled garbage collection.
  • Collection is normally delayed one day after a statutory holiday.

Yard Waste Collection:

  • Each homeowner receives 13 yard waste collections each year.  If you require a collection calendar, please call 311 or visit the website under www.citywindsor.ca
