The City of Windsor has adopted the Bicycle Use Master Plan (BUMP), symbolizing the City's commitment to develop a visible and connected cycling network that is easily accessible, safe and actively used by all types of cyclists. The Plan calls for a network of bike lanes, multi-use trails and signed bike routes, and it provides design guidelines along with specific strategies for improving cycling awareness, the cycling-transit link and end-of-trip facilities.

Parks and Recreation and Public Works have created a map showing parklands, community centres, pools, ice rinks, special event areas, boat launches, bike lanes and multi-use trails. A free copy of this map can be obtained in a number of City locations, including community and customer care centres.

Parks and Recreation is responsible for multi-use trails within parks, and Public Works looks after on-road trails. Please see our trails page for more information about trails within the City of Windsor.
