The Summer 2009 Art Cart tours of the Odette Sculpture Park will begin in August. During the summer tour season, the Art Cart Tours are offered Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday and holiday Mondays from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. All tours are free and operate on a weather permitting basis. Each tour lasts about one hour. The Art Cart will continue offering tours through September and October on a weekend schedule until Thanksgiving, October 12th. Guests are asked to gather in the newly designated location in Dieppe Gardens which is identified with an Odette Sculpture Park Tour sign. The starting location for the Art Cart is on the west side of Ouellette Ave., close to the Detroit River. The Art Cart is an electric golf cart, which can hold five people, so seating is limited and some people may have to wait for a tour because of this restriction. Tours run on a first come first serve basis. Children 13 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Specialty tours are available for large walking groups or persons with disabilities.
