The Social Services Department, Housing and Children's Services, has an arrangement with two Emergency Hostels: 

• The Salvation Army Emergency Hostel for Men

  Emergency hostel services are available for single men 18 years of age and over who are homeless, to a maximum of 14 days.
• Well-Come Home Emergency Shelter for Women
  263 Bridge Avenue, (519) 971-7595
  There are eleven beds for homeless women at Well-Come Home.
